On November 23, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) announced that the Trade Union of Cosevco 6 Joint Stock Company held the 12th expanded Executive Committee Conference. Attending and directing the conference were Comrade Vo Van Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Comrade Nguyen Viet Hieu - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors - Director of the Company; and representatives of the Party Committee, Board of Directors and local officials of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
The grassroots union currently has 147 union members, of which 58 are female and 47 are party members. Employment and income of workers are basically stable with an average of 7.5 million VND/person/month. In addition to the prescribed regimes, the company and the Trade Union also implement many support policies such as 13th month salary, taking care of holidays and Tet; visiting and supporting union members in difficulty; maintaining the "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health" movement and improving working conditions. In the 2023-2025 period, the Trade Union has introduced 3 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting.
In addition to the achieved results, the company still faces many difficulties and there are still limitations in Trade Union activities that need to be overcome in the new term.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Vo Van Tien highly appreciated the efforts of the Trade Union, and at the same time suggested continuing to pay attention to policies and regimes, taking care of union members in difficult circumstances; grasping the concerns of workers; promoting the movement "Good workers, Creative workers", "Union accompanies the stable development of enterprises"; focusing on developing the Party among workers and improving the quality of union staff.
The conference elected the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 5 comrades. At the first meeting, comrade Nguyen Mau Lich was elected as Chairman; comrade Le Thanh Thong held the position of Vice Chairman of the Trade Union. The conference also elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the first Quang Tri Provincial Trade Union Congress.
