In particular, Petrovietnam affirmed its pivotal role in ensuring energy security by providing 10% of electricity output, 60 - 70% gasoline, oil; 70% - 80% civil gas for socio-economic development.
To date, the total total revenue of the group has reached 605 billion USD, contributing about 9 - 10% of GDP, the total budget contribution of the whole group has reached 142 billion USD, currently accounting for about 8% - 9% of total state budget contributions, affirming an important role in ensuring economic security. At the same time, Petrovietnam also participates in ensuring food security by providing 70 - 80% of fertilizer products.
Petrovietnam is a leading enterprise in applying technology development with the largest number of science and technology awards, including 60 awards with 6 Ho Chi Minh awards, 4 State awards, 46 Vifotec/WIPO awards, 4 international patents.
