Speaking at the program, Ms. Le Thi Kim Thuy - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - emphasized: Over the 50-year journey since the city was honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh, the team of workers in Ho Chi Minh City has continuously grown and matured, making important contributions to the dynamic and creative development of the City today.
Each worker and laborer is an important link in the development wheel, the person who directly creates material wealth, social value and the future of the City.
We understand that behind those achievements are countless efforts and silent sacrifices of brothers and sisters, workers who work hard day and night in factories, enterprises, construction sites, hospitals, schools... Some people even face difficulties in life, housing, income, and health.
Therefore, more than ever, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organization clearly defines its responsibility not only as a representative, but also as a reliable support, a practical companion of workers.

Ms. Thuy also expressed her wish that each union member and worker will continue to promote the spirit of "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation, creativity, improving labor productivity", constantly learning and practicing skills, adapting to the new requirements of the digital economy and international integration.
On the side of the trade union organization, we are committed to continuing to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, strengthen coordination with levels, sectors, and businesses to mobilize resources to better care for workers, and at the same time listen, understand and promptly resolve the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of brothers and sisters," Ms. Thuy said.
On this occasion, 2,150 workers, laborers, representatives of policy families, and people in difficult circumstances were given a voucher worth 150,000 VND each by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation to buy discounted goods and participate in a lucky draw program with a total prize value of 100 million VND.
