On the afternoon of August 19, a working delegation of the Lao Central Confederation of Labour and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour visited and worked at TOKIN Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Long Binh Industrial Park, Long Binh ward, Dong Nai city.

Visiting and working at TOKIN Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. were Mr. Khamphoy Vanasan, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Chairman of the Lao Federation of Trade Unions (LFTU); Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.

On the local side, there was Ms. Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai city, and the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai City Labor Federation.

The grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of TOKIN Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in 1998, and to date, the CĐCS has held 8 congresses, always building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at the enterprise. The Trade Union implements many programs and activities to improve the welfare of union members and workers. The current total number of officials and workers of the company is 1,234 people, of which union members are 1,147 people (reaching 92.9%).

The current average income reaches nearly 8.6 - 9 million VND/person/month, nearly 1.5 times the minimum wage prescribed by the state, helping workers basically stabilize their family lives, workers are fully participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; a safe and clean working environment.
