The plan sets out many tasks and solutions to effectively implement this work, including strengthening propaganda, dissemination and mobilization of cadres, union members, workers and civil servants to implement the law on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.
In addition, proactively and actively participate in building and social criticism to contribute to perfecting policies and laws on corruption prevention and control, practicing thrift, and combating waste and negativity.
All levels in the trade union system and organizations seriously and effectively implement Directive No. 27-CT/TW dated December 25, 2023 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership in practicing thrift and combating waste; Resolution No. 168/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2023 of the Government on promulgating the National Strategy on preventing and combating corruption and negativity until 2030; Regulation No. 191-QD/TW dated October 29, 2024 of the Politburo (13/3) stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, working regimes, and working relationships of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; Directive No. 18-CT/TW dated October 26, 2022 of the Central Party Secretariat on promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism work of the Party - Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Party.
Along with that, review and amend regulations related to personnel work, management and use of union finance and assets, and union economic activities to limit and overcome " loopholes" that easily lead to corruption and waste; participate in giving comments on documents guiding the implementation of the Law on preventing and combating corruption and negativity, practicing thrift and combating waste.
Continue to improve awareness of responsibility, capacity and effectiveness in participating in giving opinions and social criticism on draft policies and laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity, practicing thrift, combating waste and on areas prone to corruption and waste such as: Policies and laws on land and resource management; personnel work; regulations related to the mechanism of assignment, decentralization, determination of responsibilities between agencies, organizations and individuals; administrative procedures; public finance...
In addition, based on the practical situation and requirements of the drafting agencies, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor can conduct social criticism of draft documents other legal documents related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members according to the provisions of the Trade Union Law and related documents.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Standing Committees of trade unions at all levels have developed a plan to report to the Standing Committees to organize regular and ad hoc supervision activities to prevent and combat corruption, waste and negativity; monitor sensitive incidents and areas, areas prone to corruption, waste and negativity that cause harassment and inconvenience to people and businesses; study and review legal documents (monitor documents) related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; supervise the implementation of regulations on publicity, transparency and reform of administrative procedures.
Continue to effectively implement Plan No. 42-KH/DDTLD dated January 30, 2023 of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism work of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels of trade unions.
Strengthen the inspection of the management and use of trade union finance, assets and economic activities, inspection of trade union staff work; organize the reception and handling of information reflecting and denouncing on corruption, negativity and waste.
At the same time, innovate and improve the quality of the organization, staff and methods of operation of the trade union organization to effectively implement the work of preventing and combating corruption, negativity and waste.
