Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Cam Duong ward affirmed that this is an activity imbued with humanistic values, showing the spirit of mutual affection, sharing and responsibility of the trade union organization towards union members, workers and patients in difficult circumstances.
The hospital is a place to take care of patients' health, but it is also a place where many patients and families are facing difficulties and hardships: worries about illness, cost burdens, and mental deprivation.
With the desire to share some of those hardships, the program "Warm hearts of patients - Full solidarity" is organized not only to give gifts, but more importantly to send love, faith and deep spiritual encouragement to union members, workers and patients in difficult circumstances.
This is also a practical activity demonstrating the role of the trade union organization and philanthropists in: Taking care of the lives of union members, workers and patients, spreading the spirit of compassion in the community, contributing to building a humane - affectionate - sharing environment with the hospital.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to 52 trade union members and patients in difficult circumstances at General Hospital No. 2, Lao Cai province.
At the same time, the program also gave gifts, distributed salmon porridge and free fresh milk to more than 400 patients in difficult circumstances being treated at the hospital.
In addition, many other meaningful activities are also being implemented, such as: Free haircuts for union members and patients in need; visiting and encouraging the spirit of trade union members and patients, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual affection and sharing in the community.
