News from the Trade Union of Cam Le Ward, Da Nang City on June 25 said: The Trade Union of Cam Le Ward coordinated with relevant units to organize a conference to propagate and disseminate regimes and policies on employment, unemployment benefits, job introduction counseling and supporting training, fostering, and improving professional skills for union members and workers according to the provisions of the 2025 Employment Law and Decree No. 374/2025/ND-CP of the Government.
Attending the conference were Mr. Tran Trung Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; Mr. Dang Huu Duc - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Chairman of the ward Trade Union; Mr. Le Thanh Hai - Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Secretary of the ward Youth Union, along with representatives of grassroots trade unions and more than 200 union members and workers in the area.
At the conference, speakers disseminated many practical contents related to the rights and obligations of workers when participating in unemployment insurance; conditions, benefits levels and duration of unemployment benefits; procedures for receiving and processing dossiers; consulting policies, job introduction and support for connecting labor supply and demand.
The conference also focused on introducing policies to support vocational training, retraining, and fostering to improve professional skills to help workers maintain jobs, change careers and adapt to the requirements of the labor market in the new period.
In particular, contents related to supporting vocational skills improvement and retraining workers to meet the requirements of digital transformation, technology innovation and production development are of concern to union members and workers.
Thereby, helping workers better understand the rights and conditions to be supported with training and vocational training costs as well as opportunities to improve skills, stabilize jobs and increase income.
The exchange and discussion session took place sôi nổi with many practical questions about career change, finding suitable jobs, vocational training support policies and regimes for workers when they lose their jobs or lack jobs.
Through the conference, union members and workers are promptly updated with new regulations of law on employment and unemployment insurance, raising awareness about learning and vocational training, proactively adapting to changes in the labor market, contributing to protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
