Many new policies to care for union members and workers
In recent times, the Khanh Viet Corporation Trade Union (Khatoco) has focused on promoting welfare, affirming its role as a reliable support for union members and workers of 14 grassroots trade unions.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Vu - Chairman of Khanh Viet Corporation's Trade Union said that the Corporation's Trade Union and the Trade Unions have effectively performed their role of representing and protecting the rights of employees through negotiation, dialogue and signing of Collective Labor Agreements. Of which, 90% of units achieved type A according to the instructions of the General Confederation.
The average income of nearly 3,500 union members and employees is 13.5 million VND/person/month; 100% of employees are covered by social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance according to regulations.
In parallel with taking care of salary policies, the Trade Union has implemented many practical welfare programs: improving health check-ups at high-quality hospitals to support illness, maternity, voluntary contributions, retirement, etc.
Working conditions and the working environment have been invested in to improve, fully equipped with labor protection, maintaining the effectiveness of 5S work and the "Green - Clean - Beautiful" movement at the workplace.
From 2023 to present, more than 5,400 employees have been trained in occupational safety and hygiene and nearly 600 have been trained in fire prevention and fighting.
The Legal Consulting Team operates regularly, supporting employees on labor contracts, social insurance regimes, labor laws and issues arising when businesses restructure.
From 2024, expand sightseeing and tourism benefits to 100% of official employees at the Corporation's Office and dependent accounting units, with a maximum expenditure of VND 7 million/person. This policy has created great motivation, contributing to improving the spirit of attachment of employees to the enterprise.
Many programs have made a positive impression such as Union Meal on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union, Khatoco Run - Khatoco Race, PCCC sports festival, Flashmob video contest, ostrich food festival... contributing to building a rich cultural life in the enterprise.
Social security activities are always in the 2023-2025 period, contributing a total of 13.7 billion VND to activities to support the poor, students in disadvantaged areas, build houses of gratitude, support Truong Sa, the Fund for the Poor, the Fisheries Development Fund...
Nearly 18 billion VND benefits from the initiative of Khatoco workers
According to Mr. Vu, along with union member welfare, labor agreements are also associated with unleashing creativity in each employee.
In the period of 2023-2025, the emulation movement was widely deployed with many outstanding results.
There have been 60 initiatives, 214 of which have stabilized the production of 274 groups and individuals, bringing in a profit of nearly 18 billion VND. The two individuals received the Creative Labor Certificate from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Human resource training and fostering will be focused on in the period of 2023-2025, focusing on improving in-depth management capacity, ensuring compliance with laws, legal issues, finance - accounting, digital transformation and application of artificial intelligence.
