Ha Tinh - The Trade Union of Ha Tinh College of Technology affirms its role as a companion to the school in innovating and improving the quality of training.

On November 9, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation announced that the grassroots trade union of Ha Tinh College of Technology has just held the 8th Congress, term 2025-2030.

Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Tang Thi Linh Chi - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, comrade Nguyen Duc Thach - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Economic Zone Trade Union. On the school's side, there were Mr. Nguyen Trong Tan - Party Committee Secretary, Principal, Board of Directors and all union members.

For the 2023-2025 term, the Trade Union of Ha Tinh College of Technology has affirmed its role as a representative, caregiver, and defender the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. The Trade Union effectively coordinates with the Board of Directors to implement grassroots democracy regulations, ensuring stable jobs and income for 100% of employees, an average of 10.5 million VND/person/month.

Emulation movements associated with professional tasks such as "Good workers, creative workers", "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning", "Building cultural agencies", "Good at public work, good at home work" are widely implemented, creating motivation to improve the quality of vocational training.

Many initiatives and models have been effectively applied in teaching and scientific research, including 1 theme at the General Confederation level that has been accepted, 4 collectives and 13 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee, 2 collectives and 4 individuals were awarded by the Provincial Federation of Labor; 78 union members achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level.

Activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers have been given attention, with more than 2.2 billion VND from the school's support for union members' welfare. Many meaningful programs are organized such as "Worker's Month", "Tet Sum Vay", sightseeing, studying, regular health check-ups, sports competitions, cooking competitions... contributing to connecting and improving the spiritual life of union members.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Tang Thi Linh Chi - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the school's Trade Union in the past term, and at the same time requested the Trade Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote digital transformation; build a "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" pedagogical environment; contribute to the successful implementation of the task of training high-quality human resources for the province and the region.

On behalf of the school's leadership, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tan - Party Committee Secretary, Principal emphasized that the Trade Union is the core force, accompanying the profession in innovating training content and methods towards applying technology, linked to business needs.

The school will continue to create conditions for the Union to promote its role, better care for the lives of union members, and contribute to building Ha Tinh College of Technology into a high-quality vocational training institution.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the 8th term, 2025-2030 term, including exemplary cadres in capacity, prestige and sense of responsibility, determined to develop the trade union movement and workers of the school strongly, accompanying the innovation and integration process of the unit.
