According to the report of the first 6 months of 2025 of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, trade unions at all levels have supported 87,822 union members and workers with an amount of over 76.5 billion VND, through programs such as "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and directly supporting workers in difficult circumstances.
The work of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers has been promoted, demonstrated through the supervision of policy implementation and timely resolution of problems.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung - Acting President of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - said that 100% of units have organized conferences for cadres, civil servants, public employees and labor conferences, contributing to promoting grassroots democracy. Legal consulting groups have supported 6,719 workers.
During the Workers' Month 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized many meaningful activities, awarding gifts and certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals. The work of women's work also recorded many outstanding activities, especially the response to "Ao Dai Week".

According to Ms. Dung, in terms of organizational development, in the first 6 months of the year, 13 new grassroots unions were established and 4,604 union members were developed, bringing the total number of union members in the province to 96,185 people. Trade unions at all levels have also introduced 221 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission, and 74 comrades have been admitted.
In the last 6 months of the year, Vinh Long provincial trade unions at all levels will continue to focus on performing well the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, especially issues of unpaid wages and social insurance debts.
"Promoting union member welfare programs, improving the quality of collective bargaining and actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the sustainable development of the locality", added the Chairman of the Vinh Long Labor Federation.
