The Labor Federation of Vinh Long province said that in recent years, the labor emulation and creativity movement in the field of education has been widely deployed, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in schools and the entire education sector.
Through the movements, many typical and advanced collectives and individuals have emerged in the emulation movement of labor and creativity; in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style... Besides collectives with good and creative ways of doing things, typical and advanced individuals have also contributed to creating a spreading influence, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning; actively contributing to the development of the education and training system.
One of the typical examples is Ms. Vo Thi Minh Trang - President of the Trade Union, Art teacher, My An B Primary School, Mang Thit district, Vinh Long province.
Ms. Vo Thi Minh Trang is an example of a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher; creative and active in innovating teaching and learning methods; her contributions contribute to building a clean and strong trade union, government, and party cell. More honorably, in the 2023-2024 school year, she achieved the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for her outstanding performance in the emulation movement.
For the Fine Arts subject that she is in charge of teaching, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Trang boldly proposed the solution "Some solutions to educate students to protect the environment through 2D and 3D modeling topics from the 2018 general education program" and proposed 4 specific groups of solutions: Creating a fun atmosphere in the lesson; using observation teaching aids and models from recycled materials; fully exploiting students' creativity and finally applying fine arts into practice.
The effect is that in class, the quality of students has increased significantly; they are free to be creative, use environmentally friendly materials; raise awareness of saving in using recycled materials, contributing to protecting the environment.
Through the above 4 groups of solutions, students will have more confidence, enthusiasm, interest and determination to study and will realize that studying art is a need, not a compulsory task. As a result, after applying the new model in teaching and conducting a survey, the total number of students who completed the course was 202/202 students, reaching a rate of 100%.
Through the new model, students have improved their academic performance, boldly participated in emulation movements and achieved many district-level achievements.
With outstanding achievements and contributions in the teaching competition in the 2023-2024 school year, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Trang was evaluated and recognized by the school for excellently completing her tasks; her initiative was recognized by the Principal of My An B Primary School and the Chairman of the District People's Committee in 2024.
