This year, the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health is implemented with the theme "Innovating management and improving the efficiency of occupational safety and health work in the digital age"; Workers' Month has the theme "Vietnamese workers: Innovation, improving labor productivity".
Through response activities, the Trade Union of Luc Yen commune and Au Lau ward focused on promoting propaganda on occupational safety and health; caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; discovering and replicating advanced examples in labor production and trade union activities.
Along with that, emulation movements such as "Good labor, creative labor", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring labor safety and hygiene" continue to be widely launched to improve labor productivity, build a safe, civilized, and effective working environment.
At the launching ceremony, the Luc Yen Commune Trade Union presented 25 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to encouraging workers to feel secure in their work and stick with the business.
Au Lau Ward Trade Union also provided support for building "Trade Union Shelter" houses worth 50 million VND from the Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Social Fund and presented 57 gifts with a total value of 31 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances and suffering from dangerous diseases.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Trade Union and Au Lau Ward Police to organize propaganda on laws on drug prevention and control and ensuring traffic order and safety for union members and workers.
