In 2024, the movement "Good workers, Creative workers" was concretized by trade unions at all levels in the province to suit the industry and field, receiving the attention of Party committees, authorities, employers, and the active response of cadres, civil servants, and workers.
To date, 87 outstanding initiatives of workers have been effectively applied to management and production at the enterprise. These initiatives have high social value and significance, demonstrating the creativity and intelligence of union members and workers, promptly meeting working conditions, and making an important contribution to the production and business activities of the enterprise.
Mr. Dang Ngoc Anh, Freewell Company Limited (Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park) with the initiative "Changing glue scanning tools, ensuring quality, reducing hygiene and handling of unqualified goods", has saved the company order capacity, saved time and increased productivity, while reducing material costs.
To overcome the problem of fabric being cut short and having excess parameters due to fabric being stretched when being brought to the cutting table, Mr. Vu Duc Luong, New Apparel Far Eastern Co., Ltd. (Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park) added a layer of lining paper between 50 layers of fabric. The cutting process saves 720 seconds/cutting table, the fabric is no longer stretched, when cutting into semi-finished products, the fabric is not cut short, does not have excess parameters, workers do not have to cut again.
Sharing about one of his four initiatives, Mr. Vu Duc Luong said: “The magnetic card is warped, cannot be printed, buy new one for 1 USD/piece, 1 year the company has to buy 97,200 pieces, with the amount of more than 2 billion VND. By putting the warped magnetic card through the fabric shaping machine, adjust the temperature to 1450C, then use the fabric blocker to place on the magnetic card, hold for 10 seconds to cool and shape the magnetic card straight, use it normally again”.
Thus, with only 15 seconds/card, Mr. Vu Duc Luong's initiative helps businesses save more than 1 billion VND/year.
As for Mr. Lam Vu, Freewell Company Limited, he had 2 initiatives, saving the company billions of VND. Talking about his initiative "Improving the sole wrinkle treatment machine", Mr. Lam Vu realized that the gold meca used from used computer molds has high hardness, good heat resistance, and is not easily burned, so he replaced the plastic material of the sole wrinkle treatment machine, the machine can operate normally, the quality is safe and better than the original. By doing his own thing, he saved 22,804,000 VND/machine, instead of having to buy new components.
Mr. Lam Vu said that the high-frequency printing machine was cracked, the company had to buy a new machine at the price of 429,342,000 VND/machine. He fixed and repaired 5 machines in 1 year, saving the company more than 2 billion VND.
From the emulation movement "Excellent workers, creative workers", Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 87 workers with outstanding achievements in 2023, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to 12 collectives and 27 individuals, Provincial Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to 79 collectives and 213 individuals.
Creative workers contribute positively to the economic and social development of the province.
