The company has a kindergarten, workers are assured to stick with it

After being honored as "Exemplary Enterprise for Workers" in 2025, Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company continues to increase income, maintain welfare, and help workers feel secure in working and sticking together for a long time.

Income and welfare continue to increase

According to Mr. Hoang Xuan Nam - Chairman of the Trade Union of Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company, the title is recognition but also sets requirements for businesses to continue to maintain and improve standards of care for employees.

Caring for workers must originate from their actual needs. Workers first need stable jobs, guaranteed income, then policies related to housing, young children, health, and working environment. When those issues are resolved, workers will be assured to stick with the business" - Mr. Nam shared.

Accordingly, the income of workers at May Hung Yen in recent years has tended to increase. In 2024, the average income reached 12.16 million VND/person/month; in 2025 reached 13.4 million VND and in the first 6 months of 2026 reached 13.7 million VND/person/month. The enterprise expects the average income in 2026 to reach 14 million VND/person/month.

One of the policies maintained by the company is to support the essential needs of workers, with a kindergarten of 14 classrooms, 3 functional rooms, taking care of about 450 children aged 12-36 months and a 65-room closed apartment complex for workers in need, ethnic minority workers.

Workers are assured to stick together

Policies built by businesses and trade unions are ultimately measured by the feelings of workers.

For a female worker with young children, what makes Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom - a worker at Garment Enterprise 1B - most reassured is not the benefits, but the fact that her child is sent right to the company's kindergarten, and the family has a place to live that is suitable for their income.

Having a kindergarten of the company makes me feel more secure when sending my children to work. My family is also living in the company's apartment building, so living is convenient, and the cost is suitable for my income. These things help me feel secure in working and stick with the company for a longer time" - Ms. Thom confided.

For workers, policies such as kindergartens, housing... create differences in daily life. With the company's kindergarten, workers are more assured when sending their children to school; housing policies also help reduce the pressure of living expenses.

In another situation, the story of Ms. Tran Thi Trang (Weaving Enterprise 1B) shows the business's concern for workers when encountering upheavals. Having been attached to the garment industry for many years, Ms. Trang is currently suffering from cancer, her health is depleted and she has to quit her job for treatment.

Faced with Ms. Trang's situation, Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company and the Trade Union always care, visit, encourage, and support her during treatment. This is also one of the ways businesses show their companionship with workers, especially when they encounter difficulties in life.

After 1 year of being honored, the title has become a motivation for Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company to continue to improve policies to care for workers, from income, jobs, housing, kindergartens to support when facing difficulties.
