On May 25, Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Duong - President of the Da Lat City Labor Federation, Lam Dong province said that the unit had just organized a summary of the activities of the education sector union for the 2024-2025 school year.
According to Ms. Duong, there are currently 58 grassroots trade unions in Da Lat city at school units with nearly 2,000 cadres, union members and workers.
Grassroots trade unions always maintain a working order and have many practical initiatives, contributing to taking care of the lives of union members and workers, Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Duong emphasized.
In particular, 100% of grassroots trade unions have participated in developing internal regulations, regulations for implementing democracy and internal spending regulations. The trade union also coordinates with the unit's leaders to organize democratic conferences and periodic or ad hoc dialogues when there are important and complicated issues.
These activities have contributed to creating an open and united atmosphere in the unit. Thereby, improving the quality of organization and better caring for the team of teachers and workers.
In particular, regimes and policies such as wages, health insurance, social insurance, and unemployment insurance are all guaranteed in accordance with regulations.
On this occasion, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation awarded Emulation Flags to 1 collective, and certificates of merit to 11 collectives and 14 individuals. The Da Lat City Labor Federation also commended 37 collectives and 107 individuals with outstanding achievements.
This is a recognition by the higher-level trade union for its positive contributions to the emulation movement and building the trade union organization, Ms. Duong affirmed.
