On November 9, the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Trade Union of Son Duong Seaport Maritime Services Company Limited held its 3rd Congress, term 2025 - 2030, to summarize trade union activities in the period 2023 - 2025 and propose directions for the new term.
The Congress was attended by Comrade Nguyen Van Hao - Deputy Head of the Economic Zone Trade Union Committee, full-time trade union officials in charge of the Southern Trade Union Cluster; on the Company's side, there was Mr. Chu Van Hoang - Acting Director and all union members.
In the 2023 - 2025 term, the grassroots trade union has promoted its role in caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. The Trade Union closely coordinates with the Board of Directors to build harmonious and stable labor relations; effectively implement emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" along with cultural, artistic and sports activities, contributing to improving the spiritual life of union members.
The 2025-2030 term congress discussed and agreed on key directions and tasks: improving the operational capacity of the Executive Committee, continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation; building strong grassroots trade unions; promoting grassroots democracy; better caring for the material and spiritual life of workers, contributing to the completion of production and business goals with enterprises.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Van Hao acknowledged and praised the achieved results and suggested that the new Executive Committee continue to promote the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", build a strong grassroots Trade Union, contributing to the common development of enterprises and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in the area.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the third term, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 5 comrades. At the first Executive Committee meeting, Comrade Nguyen Ba Canh continued to be elected as Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, continued to lead the trade union organization to accompany businesses, care for union members' lives and improve the quality of activities in the new term.
