On November 9, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to summarize the two Bac Ninh Trade Union football teams participating in the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.
The conference was attended by Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Standing member of the Provincial Federation of Labor, leaders and experts of the Trade Union Work Committee and the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union Committee.
Previously, in the Northern qualifying round of the 2025 Workers' Football Tournament, Vietnamese civil servants witnessed the impressive performances of two representatives from Bac Ninh. After overcoming the intense rounds, both the Bac Ninh 1 and Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union teams have registered together for the National Final Round taking place in Ho Chi Minh City.
In which, the Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union team won the regional Third Prize with a prize of 20 million VND. The Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union team passed the play-off round with a penalty shootout with a score of 7-6, excellently winning a ticket to the next round.
On October 26, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor solemnly held a launching ceremony for the two teams participating in the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament Final Round in Ho Chi Minh City. The ceremony received the attention and encouragement of provincial leaders, departments, branches and organizations. Mr. Pham Van Thinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented gifts to encourage the spirit. The ceremony also received sponsorship from 5 enterprises with the amount of 180,000,000 VND.
The National Final Round of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament will take place from October 31 to November 2, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of 16 excellent teams. The two teams of the Bac Ninh Trade Union entered the tournament with a relaxed spirit, careful preparation and high determination, demonstrating a technical and beautiful playing style, and strictly following competition discipline. However, the teams that were strong both physically and technically had to stop in the group stage. Although they did not achieve the expected results, the Bac Ninh players left a deep impression on the Organizing Committee and the nationwide audience with their technical moves, dedicated playing style and high discipline.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor Thach Van Chung assessed the tournament as a valuable opportunity for union members and workers in Bac Ninh province to exchange and learn experiences, and affirmed that this result is a valuable lesson for the players and coaching staff in the big arena.
Mr. Thach Van Chung believes that the noble sportsmanship, solidarity, and best efforts will continue to be promoted in the cultural, sports, and production labor movements of the team of workers and civil servants, contributing to the development of Bac Ninh province.
At the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 48 individuals who are players and service teams for the two Bac Ninh Trade Union football teams. This is a worthy recognition for the training efforts, solidarity and responsibility of all members of the sports delegation, who have represented the team of workers and civil servants of Bac Ninh province in the national arena.
