On December 17, the Hue City Labor Federation (LDLD) said that Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City has just chaired a working session with the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation to approve the content of the 16th Hue City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Phan Xuan Toan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
Reporting at the conference, the Standing Committee of the Hue City Labor Federation said that the preparation for the Congress has basically been completed. Documents, records and conditions for organization are carefully prepared, in accordance with regulations. According to the plan, the 16th Hue City Trade Union Congress is scheduled to take place on December 27-28, 2025, with the participation of 150 official delegates and 70 invited delegates.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai suggested that the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation fully absorb the comments, continue to complete documents and related conditions, ensure the organization of the Congress on schedule, democratically, solemnly and practically.
He noted that the political report of the Congress needs to closely follow the major orientations, policies and breakthroughs in the Resolution of the 17th Hue City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; thereby clearly defining the direction, tasks and solutions suitable to reality. In particular, it is necessary to emphasize the key task of the Trade Union organization, which is to perform well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, towards building a strong and comprehensive Trade Union organization.
In addition, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City requested to review and revise the data, targets and tasks to ensure accuracy and phu hopness with the two-level local government model; at the same time, focus on promoting propaganda and decoration of holidays, creating a lively atmosphere, spreading widely before, during and after the Congress.
