The 5 projects and works registered for the groundbreaking ceremony, inauguration and opening of technical traffic mentioned above to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The first project is the Cam Ranh Bay Urban Area Project, registered to start construction, invested by a joint venture of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, Cam Ranh Investment Joint Stock Company and VinES Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company.
The project is implemented in Bac Cam Ranh ward, with a total investment of more than VND 85,293 billion, a land use scale of more than 1,254 hectares, and a population of about 230,779 people.
According to the design, the project includes 8,474 townhouses, 10,732 villas and 19,816 social housing units, expected to form a synchronous and modern urban area along Cam Ranh Bay.
Also registered to start construction, the Van Thang Resettlement Area Project - Phase 1 is invested by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board.
The project is built in Van Thang and Tu Bong communes, with a total investment of more than 1,385 billion VND, on a scale of about 99.89ha.
The project focuses on investing in a synchronous technical infrastructure system, including leveling, roads and accompanying technical items, serving the needs of resettlement for people in the area.
The Phuoc Thai 2 Solar Power Plant project was registered for inauguration, with Vietnam Electricity Group as the investor.
The factory was built in Phuoc Huu commune, with a total investment of 1,495 billion VND, with a capacity of 87MW/100MWp.
When put into operation, the project will contribute to supplementing renewable energy sources, enhancing energy security for the South Central region.
Component project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Investment Project, phase 1 is registered for technical traffic.
The project has a total investment of VND 5,333 billion, a total length of 32km, passing through wards and communes including Ninh Hoa, Hoa Tri, Tay Ninh Hoa and Tan Dinh.
Technical traffic opening is of great significance in connecting inter-regional traffic, promoting the socio-economic development of the South Central region and the Central Highlands.
The Song Co 1 Reservoir Project, invested by Project Management Board 7 (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), has been registered for inauguration.
This is the largest reservoir project in Khanh Hoa province, with a capacity of about 109 million m3 of water, the dam elevation is up to 170 m.
The project is invested in two water pipelines: One route towards Ninh Hoa area, capable of supplying water to the dry area of about 2,500 hectares and supplementing water for Suoi Trau lake, Cai Ninh Hoa river; the remaining route is nearly 42km long, passing through Khanh Vinh, Dien Khanh, before supplying water to Suoi Dau lake and Cam Ranh reservoir.
