According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, after a number of collective work stoppages in the area, in recent days, the unit has established many working groups to trade unions at the grassroots level and enterprises with a large number of workers to grasp the situation of labor relations.

Through working directly at the trade union units at the grassroots level and enterprises, it can be seen that after the collective work stoppages at a number of enterprises in the province, workers at enterprises with a large number of employees in general and enterprises under Hoa Loi Group and shoe manufacturing companies supporting this group in particular have a hesitant mentality, there are comparisons of salary and bonus levels associated with enterprises.
In addition, there is currently a gap between salaries and bonuses in Hoa Loi Group between companies in the group in the area. In Nhu Thanh district, the basic salary increased by 6%; in Trieu Son, Tho Xuan, Cam Thuy, Yen Dinh, Ha Trung, Quang Xuong, Thieu Hoa districts, the salary for employees increased by 14.25%. However, at Annora, Sunjade, Aleron, Rollsport, Aresa enterprises, employees do not receive a salary increase.
Rollsport Shoes Company Limited and Sunjade Trieu Son Shoes Company Limited do not implement the regime in accordance with the parent company (increase basic salary, but do not increase allowances).
From July 1, 2024, probationary wages and official salaries of employees at enterprises in the city and Nghi Son Economic Zone will be lower than those in Yen Dinh and Thieu Hoa ( probationary wages are lower than 398,000 VND; Official wages are lower than 270,000 VND).
Ensuring workers' rights
Regarding the above issues, the trade union at the grassroots level has proposed that the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor soon organize a working session with the leaders of Hoa Loi Group to have a solution to resolve recommendations and problems in current labor relations. Along with that, it is recommended that when raising salaries and adjusting welfare regimes, businesses need to consult with competent authorities before issuing them, in order to ensure the best benefits for employees, maintain harmonious labor relations and ensure security, order and investment environment in the province.
At the same time, it is recommended that business leaders, based on the recommendations of employees, consider potential risks to soon have a solution.
Through working sessions with trade unions at the grassroots level and enterprises, working groups of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor have recorded many recommendations related to wages and welfare regimes for workers. From there, it will continue to work with enterprises to promptly resolve recommendations and proposals from workers, in order to ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
Previously, from March 1-7, in Thanh Hoa province, 10 companies with more than 25,000 workers had stopped working and 2 companies with more than 14,000 workers showed signs of stopping work but were handled promptly.
Through understanding the thoughts and aspirations of workers, most workers propose that businesses raise the regional minimum wage, increase shift allowances, support for gasoline, raising young children and the diligence regime.
After the collective work stoppages, Thanh Hoa provincial trade unions at all levels quickly took action, discussed frankly and responsibly on the basis of the law with representatives of the company's leaders to ensure the legitimate rights of workers. Thereby, representatives of the enterprise's leaders also proposed appropriate solutions to help the work stoppages quickly end, workers return to work, and the enterprise's production activities stabilize again.
