Enterprises focus on the welfare of union members and workers
In many enterprises in Hue City, grassroots trade union activities are implemented regularly and methodically, especially during Workers' Month. Typically, the HBI Vietnam Hue Company Trade Union organized a uniform giving ceremony, creating a healthy playground through competitions, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of union members and workers.
Not only that, the grassroots union also implemented in-depth care activities such as giving gifts to union members with good children, supporting textbooks, and proposing support for union members in difficult circumstances to local authorities. Small gifts but at the right time and on the right need have created a positive effect.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tien Hau - Chairman of the Trade Union of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, in the first 6 months of 2025, trade union activities achieved many positive results, especially the emulation movement in production and business, all of which were completed and exceeded the planned targets.
Continuing to promote the achieved results, the company's trade union identified the key task for the last 6 months of the year as taking care of the lives and protecting the rights of workers.
On the occasion of the recent preliminary review, the trade union promptly rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in competitions such as "Good initiatives, share immediately", the topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", and "Outstanding Textile and Garment families" launched by the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union.
Previously, from July 12 to 16, the Trade Union coordinated with the professional team to award collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement " Production and business in the second quarter of 2025" according to the emulation plan launched at the workers' conference at the beginning of the year.
The Trade Union of Hao Hung Hue Company Limited also affirmed its role as an effective bridge when proactively coordinating with enterprises to improve working conditions and ensure production safety. From initiatives such as installing barriers at dangerous points, adding intermediate runways, building parking areas for pregnant female workers... to environmental monitoring, equipment repair, ensuring lighting, all come from the proposal for certification by the Trade Union organization.
Ms. Le Thi Yen Ly - Chairwoman of the company's Trade Union - said: "We identify practical care as a continuous task. Every specific task, no matter how small, must aim at the safety, health, and life of workers".

According to Mr. Le Minh Nhan, the reality at grassroots trade unions shows that trade union activities are increasingly in-depth, methodical and suitable to the actual situation. During working sessions with enterprises such as Billion Max Vietnam Export Company Limited, Kim Long Motors Hue Joint Stock Company, SCAVI Hue Company Limited..., the Hue City Labor Federation promptly grasped the concerns of union members and employees, thereby removing obstacles and proposing appropriate solutions to ensure their legitimate rights.
In addition to professional support, the Hue City Labor Federation also focuses on training and improving the capacity of union officials, especially in the context of many changes in organizational models and management methods. Building grassroots democracy regulations, ensuring salary, insurance, welfare regimes, etc. is considered a key and regular task in the grassroots trade union development strategy.
