Currently, the Hanoi labor market needs human resources with college degrees or higher, accounting for 37.7% of the total 2,600 recruitment positions.

Speaking with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center - said that at the online job fair connecting 13 provinces and cities (Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Lang Son, Bac Kan, Hai Duong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Ha Nam, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh) held on February 17, there were more than 71,500 recruitment targets of 221 enterprises.

Hanoi alone has a recruitment demand of more than 2,600 positions. Regarding enterprises participating in recruitment, there are 32 enterprises in the field of trade and services - (accounting for the highest rate of 76.2%); the rest are manufacturing and construction enterprises...

The demand for recruitment of workers with college - university degrees or higher is 994 targets, accounting for 37.7%; the demand for recruitment of workers with intermediate - Technical Workers qualifications is 946 targets, accounting for 35.4%; the demand for recruitment of workers with unskilled labor qualifications is 714 targets, accounting for 26.7%.

"The fields and occupations that recruit the most workers are Commerce - services, Finance - banking, Automotive Technology, Logistics and office human resources (advisory staff, office workers...)" - Mr. Vu Quang Thanh said. According to Mr. Thanh, the Hanoi labor market currently mainly recruits high-quality human resources, experienced, professional or skilled trained workers.

targets with a high income of VND15 million/month or more account for 17.6% of the total recruitment targets. This is the income level of high-quality recruitment targets, workers with good experience and expertise, and likely to endure high work pressure.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong - former Director of the Institute of Social Labor Science (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) - said that highly qualified workers account for a high proportion of recruitment demand, showing that the labor market is increasingly competitive. The rapid development of technology and automation has changed many industries, modern jobs that require skills in using new technology are attracting many workers.

In addition, young, trained workers are often given priority for recruitment because they are newly trained, have the ability to use technology and can be willing to work with lower salaries.
