In the past time, overcoming the harsh weather caused by floods, hot weather... collectives and individuals have been eating hutts, sleeping in the forest day and night, sticking to the construction site, maintaining construction discipline, ensuring absolute safety, progress and construction quality. This is a key project with profound political significance to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), which needs to be completed and energized before August 19, according to the direction of the Government.... Therefore, the construction team needs to strictly follow the technical process, ensuring absolute labor safety; trade unions at all levels coordinate to continue to care for and fully care for the material, spiritual and health lives of workers" - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong expressed his opinion.

Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union said that the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project with a length of nearly 230km, passing through high mountains and deep forests, is one of the key and urgent projects in the VIII Power Plan. The total investment is over VND 7,410 billion. When completed, this line will transmit about 3,000 MW from the Northwest region to the national grid, contributing to ensuring energy security, enhancing regional connectivity and reducing power losses.
During the working trip, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, leaders of EVN and the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union presented practical gifts and sent warm regards to workers who are sweating day and night in the mountains and forests to bring electricity to the plains. This attention is a timely source of spiritual encouragement during the final stage of the construction project, so that the workers can have more solid skills, firm hands and ropes, and confidently complete their tasks.
