On June 17, Dakruco Rubber Joint Stock Company (Dakruco) held a launching ceremony for growing rubber and coffee trees in 2025 (part of the project to grow new and care for coffee- intercropping rubber at Cu M'gar Farm Branch).
The project is implemented on a scale of 759 hectares in Ea Kpam commune (Cu M'gar district), with a total investment of nearly 400 billion VND.
The project has a new investment period of 3 years (from 2025 to 2027), then the basic basic basic care phase will continue.

It is expected that the average yield of the entire rubber garden will reach 1.78 tons/ha/year; the exploitation period will last 22 years, with a total output of about 28,656 tons.
For coffee trees, the average yield is expected to reach 4.1 tons/ha/year; the exploitation period is 12 years, the total output is about 28,928 tons.
When the project is implemented, it will create jobs for about 250 to 270 on-site workers, with an average income of about 8.5 million VND/person/month.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Dinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ea Kpam commune commented: "In recent years, the rubber industry has played an important role in the socio-economic development of Cu M'gar district in general and Ea Kpam commune in particular.
Rubber gardens not only bring stable income to workers but also contribute to changing the face of rural areas, the lives of ethnic minorities have improved".

According to Mr. Dinh, this project can achieve dual goals, both bringing economic efficiency and protecting land resources. Because most of the current rubber area in the locality has entered the stage of aging and low productivity.
Recreating rubber trees and intercropping coffee is the right direction, in line with the current context. This method helps to maximize land fund exploitation and generate income for workers while waiting for rubber latex exploitation.
The local government is committed to creating all favorable conditions for Dakruco to implement the project on schedule. People need to actively coordinate with businesses, take good care of their gardens and consider this a long-term livelihood and sustainable source of income in the future, Mr. Dinh added.

Mr. Nguyen Minh - General Director of Dakruco Company affirmed: "This is one of the projects that we have put a lot of passion and expectations for. With a team of well-trained staff and a force of skilled workers, we will strive to complete the set goals, bringing high efficiency to the project.
"The project will contribute to creating stable jobs and increasing income for local workers, especially ethnic minorities" - Mr. Minh emphasized.
