On August 26, the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) held a ceremony to attach a Vietnam Power Trade Union-level emulation sign for the project "220 kV Cat Lai - Tan Cang Power Line".
Mr. Le Van Minh - Chairman of EVNHCMC Trade Union - said that the "220 kV Cat Lai - Tan Cang" project was invested by EVNHCMC with more than 805 billion VND to meet the development needs of Ho Chi Minh City's load.

Including the Tan Cang - Ba Son high-end complex urban area, providing proactive sources for the areas of Binh Thanh, Phu Nhuan, Go Vap districts, District 1, District 3 (old); creating a premise for closing the 220kV roundabout, meeting the n - 1 criteria between Cat Lai - Tan Cang - Tao Dan - Nha Be stations, to improve the quality of electricity and the reliability of power supply for the inner city of Ho Chi Minh City.
During the construction process, employees in the Ho Chi Minh City electricity industry have had many initiatives and technical improvements to ensure the project is on schedule and ensures safety and technical standards.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 8 individuals; the EVNHCMC Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 8 individuals with many achievements in the process of project implementation.
The completion of the "220 kV Cat Lai - Tan Cang" project is of great significance to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
