Implementing the direction of the Party Central Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on innovation and reorganization of the apparatus, the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor has developed a project to end the activities of the 12 District, Town and City Federations of Labor, the Provincial Party Trade Union, the Provincial Government Trade Union and the Provincial Economic Zones Trade Union.
Currently, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor has issued decisions to dissolve and end the activities of 15/15 trade unions at the grassroots level in the whole province.
These 15 units have a total of 1,473 grassroots unions with 72,059 union members. Of which, 1,031 grassroots trade unions with 34,806 union members of the administrative and career sector receiving a salary of 100% of the state budget will end their activities.
442 grassroots trade unions with 37,253 union members of the business sector, Cooperatives, non-public service units, and public service units that do not receive 100% of their salaries will be transferred to the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor for direct management.
The decisions take effect from July 1, 2025.
