Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation, said: In the vibrant emulation atmosphere of the whole city striving to successfully implement socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2026, celebrating the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), Hai Phong City Labor Federation solemnly organized the Conference to commend Good Laborers and Creative Laborers in 2025.
In recent years, under the leadership of the City Party Committee, the VGCL, the coordination and creation of conditions by all levels of government, businesses and the positive response of union members and workers, patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union organization have continuously developed, increasingly going deeper and achieving many practical results.
The emulation movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor" has encouraged tens of thousands of turns of workers and civil servants to actively research, innovate, and be creative in labor, production, and work. Through this, hundreds of thousands of initiatives, technical improvements, and production rationalization have been born, contributing to improving productivity, quality, labor efficiency and competitiveness of businesses and the city.
The organization of the commendation ceremony is an opportunity to recognize, cherish and spread the good values from the patriotic emulation movement among workers and employees; and at the same time continue to strongly ignite the spirit of dedication, innovation, and creativity in the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration.
At the conference, 119 individuals with outstanding achievements were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; honored 49 typical entrepreneurs in innovation and creativity accompanying workers; 142 individuals were awarded the Certificate of Merit for Good Labor in 2025 by the City People's Committee and the City Labor Federation.
These are typical advanced individuals - bright examples of diligence, creativity, constantly striving, overcoming difficulties; and at the same time honoring typical business leaders who have accompanied trade unions, encouraged, and created conditions for workers to have opportunities to promote initiatives and creativity.
