On the morning of August 31, the grassroots Trade Union of Asia A Chau Door Technology Co., Ltd. (Tan Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City) organized a flag salute ceremony to celebrate the 81st National Day September 2.
From 6 am, about 1,000 workers, along with trade union officials and company leaders in red and yellow star shirts, came to the factory.
In a solemn atmosphere, all company employees together performed flag salutes and sang the National Anthem.
At the program, Ms. Le Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots Trade Union gave a speech reviewing history and sharing feelings about the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945). At the same time, conveying information and meaning about the great event of the nation to workers.
According to Ms. Le Thi Huong, through the program, the grassroots trade union hopes that all workers will understand the historical periods that Vietnam has gone through and the sacrifices of their forefathers to have today's peaceful days. Through these activities, the grassroots trade union hopes that the young generation in the company will always remember the history of the nation.
To have a peaceful, unified and developed Vietnam like today, so many outstanding children of the nation have spared their youth, blood and lives. That sacrifice cannot be measured in words. That is an extremely great price for the two regions of South and North to reunite as one family, for the country to be connected as one strip and for our generations today to live, study and work in peace. We will forever remember the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. He dedicated his whole life to the cause of national liberation, for the independence of the Fatherland, for the freedom and happiness of the people" - Ms. Le Thi Huong shared.
According to Ms. Le Thi Huong, gratitude to the previous generation is expressed through sacred moments from flag-raising ceremonies, from pride when singing the National Anthem. In addition, workers express gratitude to the previous generation with practical actions every day, workers are always united, careful, and help each other. At the same time, focus on working, striving to produce products of the highest quality. Workers have better incomes, take better care of their families. Thereby, contributing their efforts to develop the local economy and the country.
At the program, Ms. Le Thi Huong informed the holiday time, bonuses and gifts for National Day September 2nd for employees. Specifically, today, the factory will not organize overtime and will take a day off at 4:30 PM. Thereby, creating conditions for employees to rest and visit their families.
This year, the company gives each employee a gift worth 150,000 VND. In addition, bonuses for each employee range from 300,000 VND to 3 million VND (depending on the position and contribution of the employee).
