In order to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union organization, arousing pride and solidarity among union members and workers, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) will hold a meeting to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025) on July 28.
The meeting is expected to have more than 300 delegates attending, including leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. leaders of Vinh Long province, representatives of departments, branches, union leaders at all levels, former full-time union officials through the periods, and affiliated grassroots unions throughout the province.
The meeting program took place solemnly, including the following contents: reviewing the tradition of the Trade Union organization of the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor; watching the clip of the report on the 96th anniversary of the formation and development of the Vietnam Trade Union; giving speeches of generations of Trade Union officials; speeches of the provincial leaders and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; interspersed with special art performances.
To prepare carefully for the event, the Provincial Federation of Labor has established an Organizing Committee and service groups including: Propaganda and activity groups; Logistics service groups. Comrades in the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor directly take on the roles of team leader, deputy team leader and professional responsible for each specific work area. In which, comrade Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor was the Head of the organizing committee.
The meeting was an opportunity to express gratitude for the contributions of the union cadres through the periods, while spreading the spirit of "Vietnam Trade Union innovates and creates for the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers", towards a new journey with high determination.
