On June 17, the Executive Committee of the Binh Minh Town Labor Federation issued Decision No. 134/QD-LDLD on transferring 17 grassroots unions and 2 grassroots unions to the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, with a total of 1,287 union members. The decision takes effect from June 25.
This is a step to implement Resolution 60-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee and the directives of the General Confederation of Labor on the arrangement of trade union organizations appropriately in the new period, especially for grassroots trade unions that are no longer in the sector receiving State budget salaries.
According to the transfer decision, grassroots trade unions and trade unions will complete financial settlement, report on the performance, hand over the records, trade union assets, seals to competent authorities and officially operate under the Provincial Federation of Labor.
This arrangement contributes to streamlining the apparatus, improving the effectiveness of grassroots trade union activities in autonomous public service units and enterprises.
