Implementing Official Dispatch No. 1366/TLD-QHLD dated December 30, 2025 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on deploying the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" program online, the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation has proactively and synchronously deployed to grassroots trade union levels, creating conditions for union members and workers to access Tet care policies early.
According to a report by the Provincial Labor Federation, as of January 10, 2026, the whole province had 3,074/5,100 union members benefiting from the Program, reaching a rate of 60.27%.
Participating subjects are trade union members with outstanding achievements in labor and production, actively participating in activities organized by the trade union; trade union members in difficult circumstances, low income who have registered for the list to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; cases not named in the support list will not participate in purchasing goods in the Program.
The online program "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" is organized from 9:00 AM on January 5, 2026 to 12:00 AM on March 4, 2026 (temporarily suspended during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday 2026, from 0:00 AM on February 11, 2026 to 12:00 AM on February 22, 2026). In which, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on January 5, 2026, the program prioritizes 100 trade union officials to participate in supporting union members to buy goods; from January 6, 2026 to the end of March 4, 2026, 5,000 union members of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation are allowed to buy goods according to the registered list.
Through online organization, the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" helps union members access essential goods that ensure quality and preferential prices, contributing to reducing living expenses during Tet; and at the same time spreading the spirit of "Tet reunion - Spring connection", clearly showing the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the rights of workers.
