On April 14, the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province said that from the beginning of the year to now, the whole province has had 1,889 people going to work abroad (temporary workers are 826 people).
It is expected that by the end of April, the locality will have 275 people going abroad to work as seasonal workers. Among them, there are hundreds of workers participating in the seasonal work program in the agricultural sector in localities in Korea.
Dak Lak has now signed a cooperation agreement (MOU) on receiving seasonal workers with two localities in Korea, Gyeongsan city and Cheongsong district (Kyeongsangbuk province), expanding job opportunities for workers.
Currently, seasonal workers in the Korean market are being interested in being chosen by local people. Because here there are quite high salaries, low training costs, and workers also have many other benefits if they work well in your country...
Also in the first quarter, the Department of Home Affairs directed the Provincial Employment Service Center to organize 13 counseling sessions for workers receiving unemployment benefits and 8 job transaction sessions in communes.
The Center has provided employment, vocational counseling and regimes and policies for 21,850 people. At the same time, in coordination with the Provincial Military Command, it organized counseling and job introduction for 970 young people who completed their military service and returned to their localities.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Thuan - Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Home Affairs said: "In the coming time, the unit will continue to improve the operating capacity of the employment service center system; cooperate and expand the labor market, create more job opportunities, especially focusing on supporting workers going abroad to work under contracts.
Job fair sessions and days will be organized regularly to strengthen counseling and job connection for workers".
According to Mr. Thuan, besides that, the province promotes the development of the labor market, strengthens labor supply and demand connections, and supports sustainable job creation.
Digital transformation in the labor - employment sector is also focused on, with the construction and completion of a labor market information system, improving the capacity to forecast labor demand. At the same time, strengthening state management of sending workers to work abroad.
According to the plan, in 2026, Dak Lak strives to create jobs for about 56,000 people. Among them, there are 2,000 to 2,500 workers going to work abroad under contract.
