On January 21, the U Minh Thuong District Labor Federation (Kien Giang) organized the presentation of nearly 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances working in the district with a total amount of nearly 50 million VND.
Chairman of the U Minh Thuong District Labor Federation Le Trung Quoc said: In order to carry out activities to care for union members and workers during the Lunar New Year 2025, the Standing Committee of the District Labor Federation has directed all levels of the Union to promote survey activities, grasp the living conditions, salaries, and Tet bonuses of union members and workers.
Timely organize activities to visit and give gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances. In addition, union officials provide guidance and support for 100 union members to buy gifts on the online "Union Tet Market" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with a total value of 50 million VND.
Union member Thi Chanh Tha - Thanh Yen A Kindergarten Union - shared that she is the main breadwinner in her family, taking care of her elderly father, with a low salary, and her family is facing difficulties.
“I am very happy to receive the support from the Trade Union. The gift not only provides material support but also great spiritual encouragement for myself and my family to have a warmer and more fulfilling Tet,” said Ms. Tha.
This activity also actively contributes with the Party Committee and government in showing concern, care and timely encouragement so that union members and workers can enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet.
