Quarter III continues to need more unskilled labor

In August, Vinh Phuong Trading and Production Co., Ltd. has a need to recruit 300 unskilled workers. According to information from the enterprise, workers will be trained to serve the project operation at Du Long Industrial Park. Committed income from 12-16 million VND/month with welfare regimes including: shuttle buses, Tet bonuses, 13th month salary, free lunch, childcare allowance...

According to the Khanh Hoa Employment Service Center, in the third quarter of 2026, labor demand is forecast to increase by about 5-10% compared to the forecast for the second quarter.

Notably, unskilled labor continues to account for an overwhelming proportion, about 79.26% of recruitment demand. Meanwhile, the demand for recruiting non-experience workers accounts for 74.42%.

In terms of industry, the processing and manufacturing industry continues to account for the highest proportion with 51.68% of total demand. Wholesale - retail and repair of automobiles, motorbikes, and motorcycles account for 14.94%; construction 9.44%; professional, scientific and technological activities 4.83%; accommodation and catering services 4.72%.

Regarding salaries, the level of 5-7 million VND/month accounts for the highest proportion with 46.65%; followed by the level of 7-15 million VND/month, accounting for 33.66%.

According to the Khanh Hoa Employment Service Center, the labor market still has a supply-demand mismatch. Businesses lack local skilled labor and technical labor, while a part of unskilled labor is still limited in skills and working style.

Faced with this reality, the Center will continue to strengthen the collection, analysis and forecasting of the labor market; organize job transaction sessions, connect businesses with large recruitment needs with workers, and coordinate with vocational education institutions to train human resources close to actual needs.
