Implementing the direction of the Government's Working Group on Project 06 on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation, Khanh Hoa province is stepping up the implementation of solutions to improve the effectiveness of the project.
In particular, the province focuses on integrating Health Insurance cards and Electronic Health Books on the VNeID application, one of the key tasks in the current period.
Despite many efforts, the rate of integrating health insurance cards and electronic health books on VNeID in Khanh Hoa has not yet reached the national average.
According to the Central Government's target, the whole province needs to reach 80% of people coming for medical examination and treatment with integrated health insurance cards on VNeID; 80% of citizens residing in the province have integrated health insurance, electronic health books, referral papers, and re-examination appointments on VNeID.
In order to achieve the above goal, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province have directed Party committees, authorities and relevant agencies and units to step up propaganda, dissemination and effective implementation of Project 06. In particular, integrating health insurance cards and electronic health books on VNeID is identified as a key political task from the provincial to grassroots levels.
To ensure progress, Khanh Hoa province requires heads of Party committees and authorities at all levels to uphold a sense of responsibility and be exemplary in registering and using the Electronic Health Book.
At the same time, 100% of party members, cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and workers under their management must activate level 2 electronic identification accounts, integrate health insurance cards and update electronic health books on VNeID.
In addition, units have promoted propaganda in many diverse forms, suitable for each target group, helping cadres, civil servants, public employees and people clearly understand the benefits of integrating health insurance cards and electronic health books on digital platforms.
The Provincial Police continue to direct units to maintain the reception of applications for issuing chip-embedded citizen identification cards and level 2 identification accounts, promptly supporting people to handle problems in the process of using VNeID, such as changing phone numbers and unlocking accounts.
Localities in the province mobilize all forces of organizations and unions such as the Community Digital Technology Group, Youth Union, and Women's Union to participate in guiding people to integrate health insurance and electronic health books. Community support points are regularly held in residential areas to ensure that all people are given detailed instructions.
In particular, the province will launch a peak campaign, applying the motto "go to every alley, knock on every door, instruct every citizen" to ensure that by April 30, 2025, 80% of citizens residing in the area will complete the integration of health insurance, electronic health books, referral papers, and re-examination appointments on VNeID.
Promoting the integration of health insurance and electronic health books on VNeID not only makes it more convenient for people to travel during medical examination and treatment but also contributes significantly to the goal of building a digital government, promoting digital transformation in Khanh Hoa.
