On the afternoon of February 26, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to announce decisions on the arrangement of the apparatus and personnel work.
Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor - said that implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on streamlining the apparatus in the direction of streamlining and efficiency, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented a project to streamline the internal organizational apparatus, reducing by 25% or more.
Regarding organization and apparatus at the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Propaganda - Women's Union, the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations will be merged into the Department of Professional Affairs. At the same time, the model was reduced from 4 departments to 3 departments including: Professional Department, Organization - Inspection Department, Office.
At local and equivalent industry unions, the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor decided to dissolve and terminate the activities of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, Inspection Committee of 6 industry unions including: Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union, Education Trade Union, Construction Trade Union, Transport Trade Union, Khanh Hoa Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, Industry and Trade Trade Trade Union.
The termination of the activities of 6 industry unions will be implemented from February 28. The grassroots trade unions of the 6 dissolved industry trade unions will be transferred to the Labor Federations of districts, towns, cities, and the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of the province from March 1.
For full-time staff at dissolved industry unions, they are assigned to work at the Departments and units under the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Newly establish the Trade Union of the Party and Government Bloc of Khanh Hoa province from February 28.
At the conference, the leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor also presented the appointment and transfer decisions to 15 union officials due to the restructuring of the apparatus.
In which, Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Permanent Vice President of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor - was assigned to be in charge of the Party and Government Trade Union; transferred and appointed 2 Vice Chairmen of the Party and Government Trade Union for Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue and Ms. Le Thi Minh Hien.
Appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong - Head of the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations - as head of the Department of Professional Affairs and appointed 4 Deputy Directors of the Department of Professional Affairs.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Thanh Liem emphasized, "up to this point, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor has basically arranged and ensured the ratio of streamlining the internal organizational apparatus according to the prescribed time.
With today's results, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor highly appreciated the contributions of each individual and unit. Especially the sacrifice of personal interests for the common interests of the team of full-time union officials in local sectors and the Provincial Federation of Labor".
Mr. Phan Thanh Liem also respectfully thanked the Party Committee and leaders of the departments for creating favorable conditions in leadership and coordination with the Party Delegation of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, contributing to the development of the Trade Union organization in the province in general and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers at the unit.
After reorganizing the Provincial Federation of Labor and arranging the positions of cadres, Mr. Liem hopes that cadres will continue to promote their strengths in their new positions, strive to demonstrate their pioneering and exemplary role, and successfully complete assigned tasks in the new situation.
