46 collectives with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the activities of the 17th Workers' Month in 2025 were commended by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation at the summary ceremony of the activities of the Workers' Month in 2025 and the Month of Action on Hygiene and Labor Safety in 2025 held on the morning of June 24.
During Workers' Month 2025, Ho Chi Minh City trade unions at all levels organized many practical activities to care for union members and workers. The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has presented a symbol recognizing the emulation project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) to 6 units with emulation projects, and presented 205 gifts (each worth 2 million VND) to union members and workers with diseases of theology.
The 17th "Workers' Month" activity in 2025 took place in a diverse manner at all levels of trade unions, focusing on propaganda and mobilizing workers to join trade unions, establish grassroots trade unions, honor and commend the positive contributions of workers, meet, dialogue, care for, visit and encourage workers.
The direct superior trade unions at the grassroots level signed the program "Welfare of union members", cared for and presented gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, and 10,819 grassroots trade unions organized the 17th "Workers' Month" activity in 2025.
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation organized the program "Millions of gifts - Thank you to workers" in 2025, with the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era" to care for 50,000 union members and workers with an amount of 50 billion VND.
The program is deployed to all levels of the city's trade unions. Through the 17th "Worker's Month" activity, the direct superior trade union at the grassroots level has taken care of 80,813 gifts with a total amount of nearly 57.5 billion VND, the grassroots trade unions have taken care of 13,409 gifts with a total amount of nearly 21.36 billion VND. It is estimated that Ho Chi Minh City trade unions at all levels have cared for nearly 130 billion VND for union members and workers.
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance (now XXVII Social Insurance) organized an online contest to learn about the 2024 Law on Social Insurance at the city level, attracting 30,253 employees to participate in the contest.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation honored 46 collectives with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the 2025 Workers' Month activities; rewarded 175 individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement, being typical examples in the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers" at the City level in 2025.
