On September 17, in Pleiku city, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong and the working delegation worked with the Gia Lai Provincial Confederation of Labor on supervising the Emulation - Reward topic.
Reporting to the Working Group, the leader of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor said that in recent years, all levels of the Labor Union in the province have always paid attention to emulation and reward work.
The union always focuses on the grassroots level, giving rewards to encourage union members and workers to promote creativity, dare to think, dare to do, and overcome difficulties.
The emulation and reward at all levels of the Trade Union must be timely, public, transparent, and directed towards direct workers, replicating typical examples and praising new factors.
Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation has launched and improved the effectiveness of the movement “Good workers, creative workers”. The business sector is associated with the movement “Higher productivity, better quality”.
In the administrative and career areas, the movement "Excellent emulation, good service" is developed in conjunction with the campaign "Cadres, civil servants and public employees say no to negativity"... The emulation movements have created widespread response and positive spread.
From 2023 to present, Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation has considered awarding 6 Emulation Flags, 346 Certificates of Merit to 87 collectives and 259 individuals. The unit proposed and was awarded 2 Emulation Flags, 38 Certificates of Merit to 20 collectives and 20 individuals by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation also proposed and was awarded 1 Emulation Flag and 29 Certificates of Merit to 15 collectives and 15 individuals by the Provincial People's Committee, ministries, branches, and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
In 2024, Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor organized the first ceremony to honor 78 outstanding grassroots Trade Union Chairmen in the province, period 2018-2023.
In the period of 2023 - 2024, the unit proposed, introduced and was commended and recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for 1 collective and 3 typical advanced individuals; 1 individual was honored by the General Confederation and awarded the Nguyen Duc Canh prize.
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong affirmed that the Emulation and Reward supervision topic is to promptly consolidate the organization, apparatus, and staff to gradually meet the requirements of the task.
"Thereby, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor grasps the situation, proposes rewards and answers recommendations on reward policies and regimes of the Trade Union organization" - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong added.
