And thanks to the source and timely orientation of trade union levels, the creative thinking of union members and workers has been transformed into specific labor achievements, directly contributing to the goal of improving productivity and optimizing resources of the unit.
At Phuong Hoang Xanh A&A Phenikaa Joint Stock Company, Mr. Pham Phi Hai - Pressure Vibration Coordinator is a bright example. In 2 years (2024 - 2025), he contributed 35 innovations, typically designing a program to control the volume of main surface material of 2-layer stone product lines to help stabilize the quality of semi-finished products, with a total estimated profit value of about 2.4 billion VND.
At Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC), Mr. Vu Anh Phu - Deputy Head of Technical - KCS Department of Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Company chaired the topic "Research, design and manufacture of a new 3000 box wing system", optimizing the 12m pressure structure, thoroughly solving the risk of water breakage, making a profit of 600 million VND.
In order to promptly encourage the movement, commendation and encouragement work is always focused on by the Vietnam Construction Trade Union. In the two years 2024 - 2025, the total amount directly awarded to authors and groups of creative authors reached 3.880 billion VND.
Spending more than 5 billion VND on training
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Cong Tam - Chairman of the Trade Union of Transport Engineering Design Consulting Corporation - JSC (TEDI) - said that TEDI has focused resources to improve the quality of human resources.
In 2025, the Corporation spent more than 5 billion VND on training, organizing 32 training courses with 1,482 turns of officials, engineers and workers participating. The training content is innovated in the direction of being associated with production practice, focusing on fields such as construction information modeling (BIM), digital transformation, project management, survey technology, modern design and management skills.
In parallel with training, TEDI actively builds an environment to encourage scientific research and technical innovation initiatives.
Many engineers have proactively researched and applied specialized software, proposed new technical solutions, contributing to improving the quality of surveys and designs, shortening implementation time and saving costs for the project. In which, design engineer Ha Van Tu has a series of 7 initiative solutions to improve and rationalize direct production at 8 complex road and railway projects, he has brought practical profit value of 1.9 billion VND and was honored to win the First Prize in Science and Technology Innovation TEDI in 2025.
According to Mr. Tam, in the period 2021-2025, 101 turns of TEDI engineers were awarded Creative Labor Certificates by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
From practical activities, the Chairman of the TEDI Trade Union shared some lessons learned. In which, engineers can only fully develop their abilities when working in an environment that encourages creativity, respects knowledge and recognizes substantive contributions; the emulation movement "Good Labor, Creative Labor" only truly creates a spread when closely linked to production and business tasks, solves specific problems of enterprises and brings practical value... In particular, the role of the Trade Union organization is very important in arousing the spirit of emulation, encouraging workers to study, do scientific research, promote initiatives, improve techniques and build a united and humane working environment.
