Older workers are difficult to find jobs
The Employment Service Center of Dong Nai Province (Department of Home Affairs) has just organized the first job exchange in 2025 with the participation of 30 businesses wishing to recruit and enroll more than 8,500 workers. At the floor, there were about 500 times of labor need to find jobs and find out information about the job participated in the floor and expected 240 recruited workers.
Mr. Vo Dinh Math (43 years old, living in Tan Hiep Ward, Bien Hoa City) was present at the floor early. Mr. Math said that about 3 years ago, he quit his job at a FDI business specializing in shoe -based shoes based in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai - transferred by the company to work at another workplace, Can Tho City. After quitting, Mr. Math did part -time jobs to earn more family income.
Mr. Math said that, although he was a qualified labor (formerly working as a workshop manager), he did not apply for a job this time, including unskilled labor work because businesses only recruit young workers from about 18-25 years old.
According to Dong Nai Employment Service Center, although the demand for labor selection at the job floor is mostly unskilled labor (nearly 96%) mainly in the garment, leather and electronic shoes, the number of unskilled workers and skilled workers to find jobs at the floor is very limited or does not meet the recruitment criteria of the enterprise, mainly the number of workers, but the number of workers is still unemployed. Therefore, unskilled workers participating in the floor meet very little compared to the recruitment needs of the business (the number of applications for unskilled labor is only 3.15%).
Also according to Dong Nai Employment Service Center, the current common situation is that there is no connection and common point between the capacity, experience, desire of workers and the recruitment requirements of the business, the situation of labor is still unemployed while there are many empty jobs due to inappropriate age, skills or desired work locations, leading to high efficiency consultancy and connectivity between workers and businesses.
Garment enterprises, leather shoes, electronics recruit thousands of workers
The recent job exchange has attracted businesses in the field of garment, leather shoes, electronics and labor export; Life insurance, financial services, telecommunications, protection ... participate in recruiting many job positions, especially unskilled workers and recruiting large numbers of thousands of workers such as: Fashion Garments 2 Co., Ltd., Saiitex International Dong Nai Co., Ltd., Elite Long Thanh Co., Ltd ...
