The City Labor Federation currently manages 571 grassroots unions, of which 440 are in the enterprise sector. In recent times, enterprise units have actively coordinated with grassroots trade unions to implement the Grassroots Democracy Law 2022; organize labor conferences; sign and implement collective labor agreements, bringing many incentives to employees. 325 enterprises have organized the signing and implementation of collective labor agreements.
The collective labor agreement of the city's tourism and service enterprises was first signed in May 2019, with 28 enterprises in the tourism and service sector. Despite many difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, storm No. 3 Yagi..., thanks to the support and facilitation of employers, the active participation and coordination of grassroots trade unions, the enterprises have basically fully implemented the contents of the collective labor agreement that the group has signed, well implemented the policies for employees, bringing more benefits to employees than prescribed by law.
In preparation for the collective labor agreement of the city's tourism and service groups for the period 2024 - 2027, the City Labor Federation and its units have actively disseminated labor laws, mobilized, negotiated, and agreed on the draft agreement contents with tourism and service enterprises in the area. The negotiation sessions focused on completing agreements and regulations related to working conditions, salary, bonus, holidays, Tet, visits, sightseeing, tourism, hardship allowances, and labor safety.
The implementation of the negotiation, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements has received high support from a large number of union members and employees, consensus, interest and facilitation from employers in enterprises, and efforts to participate in the implementation, monitoring, urging and supervising the implementation of trade unions at all levels from the grassroots to the city.
Up to now, with the collective labor agreement of the group of tourism and service enterprises in Ha Long City for the period 2024 - 2027, there have been 20 enterprises with over 3,400 union members and employees participating. Of which, the cruise ship sector has 6 enterprises, the service sector has 2 enterprises, and the rest is the hotel business sector.
At the conference, businesses presented and discussed a number of solutions to improve the quality of collective labor agreement implementation. The City Labor Federation and the city's tourism and service businesses agreed and signed the 2024-2027 collective labor agreement.
This is an agreement with a large number of participating enterprises, creating a new step forward in labor relations, creating unity in the application of regimes and policies related to the rights and legitimate interests of employees and employers. Thereby creating excitement, enthusiasm in emulation in labor, production, business, increasing labor productivity, improving product quality, increasing revenue, creating harmonious, stable, progressive labor relations in enterprises; at the same time, limiting the movement and competition of labor between enterprises in the same industry, moving towards stabilizing labor in the tourism and service industries.
On that basis, build the core values of the enterprise and the cultural values of the tourism industry, promote Ha Long tourism to domestic and international friends, and create the brand of Quang Ninh tourism.
