Mr. Nguyen Hoang Han - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nghi Phong Joint Venture Company Limited: Working hours and salaries ensure real life

Currently, workers are generally working 48 hours/week (Monday - Friday), so they do not have much time to recover their health as well as take care of their families, especially their children's education and training. On the other hand, many essential consumer goods, fees and charges have increased compared to the regional minimum wage, directly affecting the lives and activities of the majority of workers...
Therefore, it is hoped that the General Meeting of Trade Unions will focus on discussing to have measures to propose adjusting the regional minimum wage, controlling prices, and consider reducing working hours (standard) for direct employees to 40 to 44 hours/week.
Mr. Pham Trung Hieu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Quoc Te Seafood Company Limited: Innovation in insurance activities

The majority of employees directly involved in production are limited in terms of qualifications, technology and especially do not have much time during office hours... Meanwhile, despite many improvements, insurance procedures still have many obstacles for employees... Therefore, in addition to the recommendation to continue to simplify insurance procedures, we hope that the University will propose solutions to coordinate with the relevant agencies to develop new policies on inspection and examination work as well as handle violations of the law on social insurance payment debts of enterprises. At the same time, strengthen sanctions to handle violations, especially acts of negligence, evasion, and delay in paying social insurance by enterprises, to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of employees.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Nhut - Member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Truong Giang Irrigation Joint Stock Company: Increasing "6 houses" in industrial parks

At this university, I hope to strengthen the story of "6 houses" in industrial parks: houses, kindergartens, shops, cultural houses, sports houses, canteen. Currently, real estate prices are quite high compared to the average income of the majority of workers in industrial parks (IPs), so it is hoped that the Trade Union organization will propose promoting the development of social housing with an "open" mechanism for approaches such as: preferential loans, rental support so that workers can make appropriate choices based on the specific work and income of their unit.
On the other hand, we really hope to have a nursery, a market (medical center), a cultural house, a sports gymnasium in the industrial park to facilitate the sending of children, a high level of confidence in work, as well as timely and convenient medical examination and treatment and a playground for entertainment, health training, limiting accidents and misfortunes... Especially the issue of the dining room. Recently, the authorities have continuously discovered the problem of "dirty food", so we hope that the University will discuss food safety solutions so that workers can ensure their health and work with peace of mind.
Mr. Nguyen Van Be Ba - Chairman of the Trade Union of Du Duc Vietnam Co., Ltd.: Build a legal framework for Trade Union officials to promote the function of protecting employees

Most of the grassroots union officials at enterprises are part-time. Therefore, in addition to hoping for solutions to improve treatment, I hope to have a legal framework to protect union officials in case of fighting, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. Thereby making it clear that workers benefit from participating in the Trade Union organization to voluntarily join the organization.
Ms. Le Thi Kim Loan - Vice Principal, President of the Trade Union of Tien Giang University: Output strategy for research

Highly appreciate the vision and specific targets of the Provincial Trade Union, especially the goal of achieving 5,000 initiatives throughout the term. This is a very encouraging thing, because it is not only a motivation for all workers to accelerate their creativity, contributing to the effective implementation of the national science and technology development orientation and digital transformation according to the Resolution of the Politburo, but also directly promoting the socio-economic development... of the province. But what I expect more is that in addition to launching and nurturing research and creative movements, the Trade Union organization needs to have a strategy for the projects to come into life.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Chau - Chairwoman of My Tho Ward Trade Union: Innovation in caring for workers to meet the new situation

Like many union members and workers in commune and ward trade unions in Dong Thap province, My Tho ward trade unions expect the university to propose feasible solutions this time to effectively perform its function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers in the new context so that we can feel secure, together with departments and branches, successfully carry out the operation of the two-level government. In particular, the top priority is to promptly participate in solving core issues such as wages, social insurance, etc.
Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Han - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Apache Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd.: Strengthening training to meet the needs of businesses
As an enterprise that employs over or under 9,000 employees, we often need to train and foster both hardware and software. In addition to the need to improve skills close to main production, businesses need employees to have other supportive skills such as: machinery maintenance, small construction, etc.
For foreign-owned enterprises such as Apahe, there is also the issue of applied foreign language training to both reduce the gap and increase interaction between employees and business owners. Hopefully, the University will propose a direction to build a legitimate channel connecting training institutions with businesses.
Mr. Vo Le Huu Hanh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Freeview Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd.: Flexible policies to improve the professional skills of Trade Union officials at enterprises
Union officials at non-state enterprise unions are often part-time, in the form of semi-professionalism. Meanwhile, the number of workers in this area is very large, such as Freeview with up to 22,000 people. This also means that labor relations are very diverse. Therefore, to play a good role as a bridge between employees and employers, in addition to enthusiasm, union officials need to have union expertise.
However, due to the nature of our work, it is very difficult for us to study focused and systematically. Therefore, it is necessary to have appropriate training and fostering policies, such as selecting practical contents, such as: conflict management skills, skills to grasp the psychology of workers, etc.
Mr. Ngo Van Chi Tam - union member of the Trade Union of Apache Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd.: Innovation in communication of legal policies
Most employees working in industrial parks have limited qualifications, so they have difficulty receiving legal documents... as a result of which some of them lack updated information, or do not fully understand practical information about rights and benefits when participating in labor and production. Therefore, we hope that the University will propose solutions to innovate communication methods in the direction of applying communication technology in an easy-to-understand, lively way... to ensure that union members and employees understand correctly and fully the legal documents to comply with and proactively protect themselves.
