Like many union members, workers, and laborers working in industrial parks in Dong Thap province, Ms. Nguyen Thi Van - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Want Want Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Long Giang Industrial Park) - affirmed that the dialogue between Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and workers and laborers has shown the deep concern of the Party, State and Government for the lives, jobs and rights of workers.

Ms. Van said that issues related to salaries and social insurance are issues that a large number of workers are particularly concerned about. The Government's continued direction to adjust the minimum wage in accordance with the socio-economic situation and actual living standards will contribute to helping workers reduce difficulties and stabilize their lives. In addition, solutions to expand the coverage of social insurance, ensuring benefits when workers quit their jobs, lose their jobs or reach retirement age, also create more peace of mind for workers to stick with the business for a long time.

The Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Want Want Vietnam Co., Ltd. expressed his expectation that the commitments and directions of the Prime Minister and the Government will soon be implemented synchronously and effectively by ministries, branches, localities and businesses. At the same time, he wished that in the coming time, there would continue to be more policies to support social housing for workers, improve the quality of health and education services for workers' children, and have solutions to control living costs so that workers' incomes can be improved more substantially.
According to Ms. Van, with the attention of the Government and the companionship of the Trade Union organization, the material and spiritual life of workers will be increasingly improved, thereby helping workers feel secure in their work, contributing to the development of businesses and the country.
