DT Food Joint Stock Company (DT Group) in coordination with the Trade Union and Youth Union of the company has just launched the Public Service Labor Day - celebrating the 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Liberation Day (April 2, 1945 - April 2, 2025).
With the message "for a green - clean - beautiful environment", nearly 200 managers, union members and employees of the company have collected plastic waste, cleaned the entire corridor of National Highway 1 through the factory area (Vinh Phuong commune, Nha Trang city); dredged and collected garbage in the drainage canal of Dac Loc 2 village, Vinh Phuong commune.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy - a packaging worker at the D&T Sea Yen Dao-Rong Factory - said: "When I saw the company and the union launch it, I volunteered to participate immediately because I saw this as a meaningful activity.
I contribute a small part to pick up trash and clean the inside and outside of the factory. This action not only brings a good working environment to me but also benefits the community, so I will participate more in programs to beautify my hometown.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Duy - General Director of the Company, on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Khanh Hoa province, along with promoting production and business, labor emulation, and promoting growth, contributing to the efforts to bring Khanh Hoa to double-digit growth in 2025, the Company's Board of Directors will coordinate with unions to organize public labor activities.
This is a practical action in which workers and business leaders join hands to contribute to beautifying the homeland of Khanh Hoa.
We identify that Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa with its extensive tourism development, green and clean city appearance comes from the awareness of each citizen of the city.
Through community workers' day, we want to build a green culture for each worker so that each person is an environmental ambassador.
We hope that our actions will change awareness, spread awareness of protecting the marine and island environment, protecting the living environment of workers from the workshop, inside and outside the factory, on each road to work and in each person where we have the factory" - Mr. Duy shared.
Along with the flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the month that has been maintained over time, the public service labor day to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Liberation Day will inspire and foster patriotism and remember the source in each worker and each worker of the enterprise.
