Lang Son spends nearly 23 billion VND more to streamline staff

Lang Son - The Provincial People's Committee approved the list of 44 public employees in public non-business units implementing staff streamlining phase 3 in 2026.

According to the decision of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, these cases are resolved for regimes and policies according to Decree 154/2025/ND-CP of the Government on streamlining staff. The total estimated implementation cost is 22.9 billion VND.

Among the 44 civil servants subject to streamlining this time, 42 people retired early, with a total budget of more than 22.48 billion VND. This group includes one case at the provincial level, working at a unit directly under the Department of Education and Training; the remaining 41 cases are at the commune and ward levels.

The majority of people retiring early are teachers and management officials at schools. Some areas have many cases on the list such as Ky Lua ward with 5 people, Huu Lung commune with 4 people; Cao Loc, Ba Son, Chi Lang, Quan Son, Tri Le communes with 2 people each.

In addition to the group retiring early, two officials were approved to resign, with a total budget of more than 490 million VND. Among them, one person belongs to the Agricultural Extension Center, Department of Agriculture and Environment; one person is an accountant at Loc Yen Kindergarten, Cao Loc commune.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance, based on the approved estimate, to advise competent authorities to supplement the state budget expenditure estimate for 2026 for agencies and units to pay benefits to subjects.

Heads of relevant agencies and units are responsible for resolving policies fully, promptly, and in accordance with regulations.
