On October 31, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a working delegation to visit, encourage the forces on duty and give gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances in areas severely affected by the recent floods.
The working group was led by Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong - Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation. This is an activity implemented according to Plan No. 152/KH-LDLD dated October 29, 2025 of the Da Nang City Labor Federation on supporting union members and workers affected by floods and visiting and encouraging functional forces on duty to support the people.
In Hoi An ward, the delegation visited the hotspots on duty 24/7, giving 3 gifts, each worth 3 million VND, encouraging the spirit of the forces that are working day and night to support people to overcome the consequences of floods.
In Hoi An Tay ward and Ngu Hanh Son ward, the delegation continued to give each ward a gift worth 3 million VND to the checkpoints, recognizing the efforts and volunteer spirit of cadres, soldiers, union members, militia and local police in rescue work and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
In parallel with visiting the frontline forces, the working group also spent time visiting union members' and workers' households that were severely affected. In Hoi An ward, the City Labor Federation presented 10 gifts, and in Ngu Hanh Son ward, 10 gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to promptly support cases in especially difficult circumstances, those who suffered property, housing, and means of living losses due to prolonged flooding.
At the visit, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation Ho Thi Lan Huong expressed her deep condolences to the forces on duty day and night, and encouraged union members and workers to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and restore production.
Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong affirmed that Trade Unions at all levels will continue to accompany authorities and businesses in caring for and supporting union members and workers, leaving no one behind.
