In 2025, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation implemented many practical programs to improve the lives and protect the rights of workers.
With the theme "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party", the Provincial Labor Federation has organized more than 20 "Tet Reunion" programs, supporting nearly 40,000 union members with a total amount of up to 40 billion VND.
These activities have not only helped union members feel the concern and care from the trade union organization but also created a stable working environment, protecting the rights of workers.
The Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation also implemented "Trade Union Meal" programs at 374 grassroots trade unions, attracting the participation of more than 76,000 workers, with a total cost of up to 3.5 billion VND.
These are practical activities to improve the material and spiritual life of workers, especially in the context that many localities are still facing income difficulties.
In the work of caring for workers, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation has implemented many support programs, such as building 33 "Trade Union Homes" for union members in difficult circumstances, each house worth 50 million VND.
Free medical examinations, medical consultations and medicine distribution activities for workers in industrial parks are also widely organized, helping them access healthcare services more easily.
At the conference, delegates attending contributed practical opinions on solutions to implement action programs suitable to the reality of each sector, locality and unit.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, acknowledged the positive innovations of the provincial trade union organization in the past time.
It is proposed that in the coming time, the trade union should continue to catch up with the times, promote the development of union members, and train trade union officials to promptly grasp digital skills, use digital technology in communication, and consolidate ideology for union members and workers.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province also reminded the trade union to promote the role of supervision and criticism well, unleash the strength of creative labor in enterprises, and promptly reward individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements.
At the event, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation awarded the Second-class Labor Medal to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi - former Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation, recognizing her contributions to the cause of building and developing the trade union organization.
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 5 collectives and 18 individuals with outstanding achievements, and also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation to 27 collectives and 93 other individuals.
To create a vibrant emulation atmosphere in 2026, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation launched an emulation movement among union members and workers, calling on each trade union official to uphold the spirit of responsibility, enthusiasm and creativity in the work of developing union members and grassroots trade union activities.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Kha Van Tam, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, acknowledged the professionalism and seriousness of the delegates.
