On July 4, the Hue City Labor Federation (Hue City Labor Federation) said that in the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the city held conferences to disseminate and implement the Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law 2024 issued by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The conference was held online at the Hue City Labor Federation's bridge, attracting the participation of key union officials at all levels, to raise awareness of new points in the law, while affirming the role and responsibility of trade union organizations in ensuring timely and effective implementation of the law.
Along with that, the Hue City Labor Federation coordinated to organize a Dialogue Program between the leaders of the Hue City People's Committee and union members and workers.
More than 500 cadres, union members and workers directly made recommendations and asked questions to the city's leaders and related units, focusing on urgent issues such as employment, social insurance, occupational safety and hygiene, education, health, transportation, food safety and the situation of "black credit" in industrial parks.
However, workers are still concerned about the fact that the number of enterprises temporarily suspended and dissolved is still high, affecting workers' sustainable job opportunities.
The same situation of lack of housing and nurseries for workers in industrial parks directly affects their lives and labor productivity.
The leaders of Hue City acknowledged this situation and said that they will continue to implement policies to support businesses, while strengthening the connection between labor supply and demand to stabilize employment.
