On July 24, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance announced that it had agreed on a pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule from August 2025 onwards in the new Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will directly transfer money to the ATM account of pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries from the first working day of the month.
For cash, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Binh Duong Provincial Post Office, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Post Office (old) organize payment at payment points from the 7th to the 10th of each month. At the same time, continue to pay at the Post Offices of the Central/District Post Offices from the 11th to the 25th of each month.
In case the payment date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, holiday, or Tet holiday, the payment date will be the next working day
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance recommends that beneficiaries open an account and register to receive pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts to avoid wasting time traveling and receive pensions quickly and conveniently.
At the same time, it contributes to the effective implementation of the solution of applying the National Population Database in paying pensions and monthly social insurance benefits through non-cash payment methods as directed by the Government.
