Responding to Workers' Month 2026, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation has just held an inauguration ceremony and attached a plaque to the "Trade Union Shelter" project for union member Le Thi Tuyet in Thanh Cong commune.
Ms. Le Thi Tuyet is in particularly difficult circumstances, raising a young child alone, previously having to stay at her parents' house with an income of more than 7 million VND/month. Before that legitimate aspiration, the Trade Union organization promptly supported the construction of the "Trade Union Shelter" house.
After more than 6 months of construction, the house was completed spaciously with a total cost of over 700 million VND. Of which, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation supported 60 million VND, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. supported 15 million VND, and the rest was helped by family and relatives.
The new house is not only a stable place to live but also a great source of encouragement, helping union members feel secure in working and rise up in life. This is a meaningful activity, showing the practical concern and care of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
